Julia Konow
Psychotherapy Trainee, under supervision
Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, leave you feeling stuck, disconnected from yourself or those you love, and unsure of how to move forward. You may be struggling with worries, with fluctuating moods, with grief or difficult relationships. Sometimes there are past experiences that you just can’t seem to shake or a sense that something needs to start to be different. Whatever brings you to therapy, I strive to offer a warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your challenges and strengths, be heard and supported. Together, we can unpack what you are experiencing, get curious about patterns that may be keeping you stuck, uncover new perspectives and tools to address the difficulties where they find you now.
I work collaboratively with individuals (18y+) to provide support for various concerns including low mood, anxiety, stress and burnout, self-compassion, trauma, and relationship issues. With an integrative approach, I combine insights from psychology, neurobiology and mindfulness approaches to empower clients who are working through difficulty and seeking greater balance in their well-being.
My focus is on guiding people to connect with their strengths and resources. Individuals of all genders, sexual orientations, and backgrounds are welcome. Clients are invited to explore their concerns in a courageous space with tools for enhanced awareness, self-regulation, attuned communication, and security in relationships.
