Andreze do Nascimento Silva

Psychology Intern — Equivalence Pathway, under supervision

Sometimes, you can have many things going well in your life and still feel that something is missing. You may be successful in your work or studies, capable of handling difficult situations, and yet find yourself struggling with anxiety, emotional exhaustion, relationships, or simply understanding what you need. Therapy can offer you a space to slow down, make sense of what is happening, and look at your difficulties without judgment.

I believe that therapy should help you understand yourself while also giving you tools that you can use in your everyday life. Together, we can look at patterns that may be keeping you stuck, develop practical ways of dealing with difficult emotions and situations, and explore how your relationships and life circumstances influence the way you experience yourself, your relationships, and the world. I particularly enjoy working with people who want to build more fulfilling personal relationships, couples who want to reconnect and strengthen their relationship, and families who want to create a more supportive environment in which each person can grow while remaining true to themselves.

My therapeutic style is collaborative, warm, and practical. I primarily draw from cognitive-behavioral and systemic approaches, adapting the way I work to each person, couple, or family. I have more than ten years of experience as a psychologist in Brazil, including private clinical practice, psychological assessment, psychotherapy, university teaching, and supervision of clinical trainees. I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology and specialized training in Systemic Family Therapy and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy. I hope that therapy can help my clients feel more comfortable with themselves, more connected to the people who matter to them, and better equipped to build the life and relationships they want.
