Welcoming Victoria Maria Ferrante to Mindsession
We are pleased to welcome Victoria Mariam Ferrante to the Mindsession team and is a Psychology Intern at the doctoral level who provides psychotherapy services under the supervision of Dr. Lara Kalaf. Victoria is a doctoral candidate at the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM) and holds a Master of Psychology from Université de Montréal.

Victoria Maria Ferrante is a doctoral-level Psychology Intern working under supervision. She works with adults and young adults experiencing concerns including anxiety, depression, stress, trauma and PTSD, sleep difficulties, grief, relationship challenges, self-esteem, and life transitions. She is also interested in supporting individuals navigating identity and existential concerns, body image difficulties, and challenges with adjustment and organization. Her background in social psychology informs her awareness of how social dynamics, prejudice, and broader systems of oppression can influence psychological well-being.
Her approach is integrative, collaborative, and empowering, drawing primarily from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), as well as humanistic, existential, and eclectic perspectives. She emphasizes building a trusting therapeutic relationship and developing personalized treatment plans aligned with each client’s needs, values, and pace. She is committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive space that acknowledges the influence of social and cultural circumstances on individual experiences.
Victoria provides services in French and conversational English. We are pleased to have her as part of the MindSession team, bringing her academic background in clinical and social psychology and her thoughtful, inclusive, and empowerment-focused approach.
